Brief Description
The Nigerian government, in partnership with UNICEF and the European Union Trust Fund, is providing the transit centers for women and girls who were rescued from Boko Haram captivity by the Nigerian military. The transit centers provide the survivors with psychosocial support and peer to peer support before they are taken either back to their homes or as in most cases, to a camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
